Celebrating 75 Years of Canada-Israel Diplomatic Relations
The Embassy of Israel in Canada and the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) are proud to host a celebratory symposium marking the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Canada-Israel diplomatic relations. This event will highlight the legacy of the Right Hon. Lester B. Pearson, Prime Minister of Canada especially the diplomatic role he played in the context of the Israeli-Arab conflict in the Middle East.
The symposium will feature various speakers and panelists who will present different perspectives on the past, present, and future of Canada-Israel bilateral relations as well as other aspects of the broader international environment.
The symposium agenda and speaker list will be available shortly before the event subject to change.
The symposium will take place on Thursday, May 23 2024, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., at the Sir John A. MacDonald Building (144 Wellington Street).
